The Altiplano is the northernmost region of Murcia (Spain). Bordered on the east by the High Vinalopó and Vinalopó East (in the province of Alicante), on the south eastern region and the Vega Alta del Segura (in the region of Murcia) and to the north and west by the province of Albacete.
It consists of the towns of Yecla and Jumilla and has 56,134 inhabitants.
